The mission of Mobile Meals is to provide well-balanced, home delivered meals FREE to persons who are ill, disabled or otherwise handicapped in their ability to prepare or obtain adequate or nutritious hot meals five days a week. Every delivery carries a community spirit, a warm greeting and a wellness check. There are no age requirements.

Mobile Meals clients are referred through families, friends, pastors, physicians and home care health providers. Financial support is provided by local churches, community organizations, and individuals throughout the Grand Strand. Mobile Meals is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization celebrating 50 years of service.

Proceeds from the Caring Council Online Basket Auction happening September 28 to October 2 will help pay for weekday meals, upkeep on the delivery van and associated expenses.
