HTC and the Barefoot Board of Directors met with representatives from the community Boards and Voting Members on August 26, 2026, to discuss the upcoming HTC contract renewal.

HTC has presented three service package options for consideration. The Barefoot Board of Directors is requesting feedback from each community so that responses can be provided to HTC by the end of September 2026.

Please review the proposed packages and contract details below and select ONE option.

PROPOSED HTC SERVICE PACKAGES

OPTION 1 – QUAD PLAY (This is your current services with HTC)
Voice + Video + Security + 1 Gig Internet
$65.00 per month, per unit, plus applicable taxes

• Voice service
• Video service
• Security service
• 1 Gig Internet
• Important: Owners choosing this package would be responsible for purchasing the required security system from HTC.

OPTION 2 – TRIPLE PLAY (Does not include security monitoring. Prices for the service are listed in the FAQ’s at the button below.)
Voice + Video + 1 Gig Internet
$60.00 per month, per unit, plus applicable taxes

• Voice service
• Video service
• 1 Gig Internet

OPTION 3 – DOUBLE PLAY (Does not include voice or security monitoring. This can be purchased directly from HTC at an additional cost of $14.95 per month. Prices for the security monitoring are listed in the FAQ’s at the button below.)
Video + 1 Gig Internet
$43.00 per month, per unit, plus applicable taxes

PROPOSED CONTRACT RENEWAL DETAILS

Please consider the following terms when making your selection:

Contract Term
The proposed agreement is for a 10-year term.

Annual Rate Increase
The contract provides for a 3% annual rate increase.

Effective Date
The new pricing and selected package would begin January 1, 2027, which is one year prior to the expiration of the current agreement.

Infrastructure Improvements
HTC has proposed a significant infrastructure investment that would include:

• Wi-Fi 7 upgrades
• Smart wireless technology
• Additional mesh solutions where needed

Priority Member Support
Barefoot residents would receive priority member support through a dedicated concierge Barefoot hotline.

The Barefoot Board of Directors would like to provide HTC with each community’s decision by the end of September 2026.
