2025 Barefoot Back-To-School Supplies Drive

Our North Myrtle Beach elementary school students will be returning to school soon! Once again, many students in our community do not have the means to buy their school supplies, and our teachers cannot afford to purchase the everyday supplies needed for their classrooms. Every year, our Barefoot residents have been very generous in donating school supplies for children in need in grades K-5. We are asking for your donations again this year. Donations will be collected between July 28th and August 11th by the Barefoot Caring Council. FYI – South Carolina Tax Free weekend is August 1st-3rd, a great time to purchase these supplies.

- Wipes
- #2 pencils – Ticonderoga
- Crayons
- Glue Sticks (no bottles of glue)
- Scissors
- Colored pencils
- Colored markers
- Highlighters
- Black Expo dry erase markers
- Earbuds
- Marble compass books
- Sandwich bags – assorted sizes
- Construction paper
Please DO NOT purchase:
- Pencil erasers
- Spiral notebooks
- Loose leaf paper
- Rulers
- Compasses
- Folders
- Glue bottles (glue sticks only)
The schools are also requesting these hygiene items:
- Deodorant
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrushes
- Dental floss
- Soap
- Combs
- Hairbrushes
- Hair picks

Drop Off Location:
Please drop all donations off at Eileen Roddy’s house, located across the street from the Residents’ Club at 5804 Spotted Owl Landing. Please do not drop off after August 11th , as items will already have been delivered to the schools.
Thank you in advance for your donations! When we deliver the supplies to the schools we also include a card with our donations to let everyone know that the donations are provided by our Barefoot residents!
