Children’s Summer Reading Book Drive
March 1 – March 31, 2024
The Barefoot Caring Council is sponsoring a Summer Reading Book Drive for Riverside Elementary and Ocean Drive Elementary Schools. We are requesting new children’s books for grades K-6. The books will be distributed to children in need at both elementary schools so they can enjoy reading during the summer break.
Below are grade appropriate reading lists to use as a guide for donations.
You may drop off books at the Residents’ Club Library and at the Ponderosa Lobby. If you are unable to do so, contact Donna Wickes at 516-983-8698, or e-mail at wickedo631@gmail.com to arrange for pick-up.
