CHILDREN'S SUMMER READING BOOK DRIVE

April 1 – April 30, 2018

The Barefoot Caring Council is sponsoring a SUMMER READING BOOK DRIVE for Riverside Elementary and Ocean Drive Elementary Schools.   We are requesting both new and gently used children’s books for grades K-6.   The books will be distributed to less disadvantaged children at both elementary schools so they can enjoy reading during the summer break. 

Below are grade appropriate reading lists to use as a guide for donations. Additional recommended books may also be found at the links following links:    Summer Reading List: K – 2nd Grade;  Summer Reading List: 3rd – 4th Grade; and Summer Reading List: 5th-6th Grade.

You can drop off books at the Ponderosa Management Office (there will be a donation box in the lobby), or if you are unable to do so, call Susan O'Keefe at 516-721-7752 (or email suephil2000@yahoo.com) to arrange for pick up.
