Donations Benefitting the 33rd Annual
Community Christmas Day Dinner

St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church

Each year the Barefoot Caring Council participates in a clothing and toy drive to benefit the Annual Community Christmas Day Dinner at the St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church.

Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the clothing and toy drives have been canceled once again this year.

But, the Annual Christmas Dinner for those who are in need will still take place, although a little differently this year. The dinner will be pick-up and delivery only.

This year it is projected that over 13,500 meals will be served!!

In lieu of collecting donations of toys and clothing, the Caring Council will be collecting:

• Variety packs of cookies (for example, Grandma’s Cookies, Nutter Butter, Oreos, Sugar Wafers, etc.). Cookies must be pre-packaged and individually wrapped. Whatever Sam’s Club, Costco, Amazon or Walmart carry will usually work
• Costco gift cards

Please no chocolate candy bars – they will melt!

In addition, monetary donations would be greatly appreciated. Your tax-deductible check made payable to Community Christmas Dinner can be sent to:

We will be collecting donations from Thursday, December 9 through Thursday, December 16.
