The year started off with us signing a new contract with United Land Services.
Their Contract with us began on February 1st and they resigned from it within a few months since we were not able to assign them the JC contract as well.
Barefoot is a unique and large community and it is hard to find companies with the ability to maintain the single family neighborhoods (excluding Dye, Leatherleaf and Oak Pointe) as well as the Residents Club properties and the Cabana.
A decision was made, not lightly, to renew our contract with Mainscape. I met with the regional manager, the local manager, our community leader and the irrigation technician.
We discussed our expectations for the rest of 2025.
We believe we have made great progress with improving the look of our aging community.
We have also been reviewing the contract renewals for 2026 and finding ways to keep our costs down in what we know is a challenging market.
Hopefully we are continuing our improvements into 2026. We are open to any and all suggestions of areas you may see that need improvement.
