Tammy Hardy will present the topic Cyber Security.  

Tammy is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones with over 30 years in the finance industry.  She takes protecting her clients's assets very seriously. Educating people about how to protect their finances from fraudsters is one piece of her overall goal of looking out for her clients best interests.

• A brief overview of some of the most common scams (collection fraud, grandparent scam, sweetheart scam, lottery scam, identity theft, computer intrusions etc.) with examples
• Fraud by the numbers (different statistics regarding who is usually victimized, how much it is costing the victims etc.)
• Red flags to look for
• Steps you can take to protect yourself from financial fraud
• What to do if you believe you have become a victim of fraud
• Resources available

Mark your calendars for the next quarterly meeting on Wednesday, June 17. The topic for June is "Share the Road", auto, golf cart, bicycle and pedestrian laws.
