The four winners of the 7th Annual North Myrtle Beach Shop with a Cop Charity Golf tournament were: James Smothers, Will Jones, Brandan Pierce and Todd Deal. 

The tournament was played on the Fazio Course at Barefoot Golf and Resort.

“As always, we are very thankful to Barefoot Golf and Mike Ross and his superb staff,” said North Myrtle Beach Public Safety Director Jay Fernandez. “We even had to switch the tournament date at the last moment this year due to bad weather forecast for the original date, but Mike and his staff achieved this for us without a hitch. This is a great partnership that we hope to continue into the future.”

After expenses, the 2017 Tournament raised a little over $9,000 for the Shop with a Cop program, which provides a luncheon and $150 Walmart gift cards at Christmas time for school children in need as identified by guidance counselors. Public Safety personnel and volunteers accompany the children as they shop, and also help them select a winter coat, if they need one.
