~ Rick Heiges, Website Committee Chair

The Website Committee has been meeting on a monthly basis since January 2025. Throughout this year, we have diligently reviewed the logins for the BRRA Owners website, cross-referencing them with the list maintained by Ponderosa Management. Currently, approximately 75% of owners have an active login.
Our research on features of websites for residential neighborhoods like ours, along with outreach to other communities, indicates that our owner website is more robust than most of our neighbors. However, one of our primary goals remains to increase community engagement.
As expected, the most visited page is the Login page, followed by the Cabana Cam, Owner Directory, and News. We have recently enabled the Calendar of Events feature, which can be found under the BRRA ORG main menu tab. We encourage you to check it out. Additionally, we are exploring the possibility of integrating the camera feed from the Guard House, allowing you to check for any line-ups at the Bridge. We hope to have this feature online soon.
The Clubs and Leagues page has also been refreshed with updated photos and contact information, including details on how to get involved in the “Keep Water Tower Road Beautiful” program. This page contains valuable information on how you can engage more with your neighbors at Barefoot.
Another critical area we are addressing is the need to upgrade our web server, as its technology stack is approaching “End of Life.” This upgrade needs to be completed by the end of 2025.
We are always open to feedback and suggestions on how the owner website can be more valuable to all of us. Please feel free to contact Rick Heiges at [heigesr2@hotmail.com] or our website manager, Michelle Mate, at [webmgr@barefoothoa.com].
