Charitable Endeavors for Remainder of 2022
Listed below are the charitable events the Caring Council will be participating in for the remainder of 2022. We hope that you will be able to support them.

Annual Holiday Bazaar: Because last year’s online bazaar was so successful, we are doing it again this year. The on-line bazaar will run from Saturday, November 5 at 9am through Friday, November 11 at 3pm. All proceeds from he holiday bazaar benefit Teen Angels of North Myrtle Beach High School. Semi-annual food drive benefiting North Strand Helping Hand: Our drive-thru food drive will be held on Friday, November 4 from 9-11 am. Residents will be asked to drop off their donations to the gazebo parking lot, just past the Residents’ Club, as we have done the past few times.
Wishing Tree to benefit local NMB elementary school children: Each year the Caring Council collects gifts to give to children in need from three of our local elementary schools. We will be doing this virtually again this year, as we have done the past two years. This year, we will be adding a “senior citizen” category. We will be adding some names of residents from Myrtle Beach Manor, an assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing facility. Sometimes these residents feel forgotten, and we welcome the opportunity to help make their holiday a little brighter. The dates for the Wishing Tree are November 15-December 7. A separate e-mail will be sent soon with additional information.
Annual Christmas Dinner: Mid-December. We will once again be collecting individually wrapped desserts for the Annual Christmas Dinner. The organization hopes to serve over 14,000 meals to those in need of a good meal.
