The Barefoot Caring Council is thrilled to announce that our residents have sewn a total of 88 quilt tops to-date for the Quilts of Valor! Currently, there are 400 veterans in the Grand Strand area waiting for a quilt so KEEP ON SEWING!!

If you are interested in sewing a quilt top for these deserving veterans, please contact Joan Tellish at jgtellish@comcast.net. Joan has graciously volunteered to take over leadership of this initiative from Maureen O'Callaghan.

If you are interested in sewing and are in need of assistance in quilting, Material Chicks, located in Longs, is now a designated Quilts of Valor location.
