Baseball Season is Here …

APRIL 1, 2019

Myrtle Beach Pelicans baseball season is upon us.  Their season officially begins on April 4th.  Barefoot has worked with the Pelicans to provide Barefoot residents with several great ways to enjoy minor league baseball while having fun with other Barefooters, friends and family. It’s very important to get your requests in early as space is limited and the spots fill up fast!!

One way is to rent a luxury suite for a party with 20 of your closest friends and neighbors.  The Barefoot suite rental cost is $333.00 versus the regular price of $750.00 per game.  This includes 20 tickets and 4 VIP parking passes for the game. Popcorn, Lemonade and Iced Tea are provided in the suite.  A catering menu is available and you can also visit the concession stands and bring food and drinks back to the suite. Renting a suite is a great way to have a neighborhood outing, family reunion, employee or customer appreciation event or just an outing with good friends and family.

If renting an entire suite is not for you, we have special Barefoot Nights each month where you can purchase individual tickets and join other Barefoot residents to watch a ball game.  This is a great way to meet new Barefooters and enjoy a nice night out in the comfort of a luxury suite at a ballgame.  The first Barefoot Night is April 24th versus the Carolina Mudcats (Milwaukee Brewers affiliate) and is “Weiner Wednesday” where you can buy one, get one free (BOGO) Hebrew National Hot Dogs.  Here are the other Barefoot Nights for the 2019 season: May 16, June 13, July 30 and August 7.  The price is $17 per ticket.  Contact Tom Reeder at treeder@aol.com or 843-390-2377 to reserve your spots, while space is available.

Also, on July 13th the Barefoot Lifestyle Committee will be having another Barefoot event in the Beach Party Area of Pelicans park.  Last year we had 95 Barefoot residents enjoy the ballgame in the Beach Party Area, including an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet for only $20 each.  This unique baseball experience was a “Big Hit” and many have asked to have it scheduled each year.  More information will be coming as we get closer to this wonderful event sponsored by the Barefoot Lifestyle Committee.
