Cabana Update

Progress on the Cabana is continuing as fast as possible with some of the sub-contractors working weekends.  Supply chain issues continue to slow progress especially as interior components such as tile and railings continue to miss promised delivery dates. Further, a few minor changes have been required in order to satisfy occupancy certificate (CO) requirements. These include additional lighting at the elevator landings, and a sidewall exhaust fan with power in the elevator shaft to reduce the elevator operating temperature during peak summer use. Details of the security system implementation have been delayed because of the unresponsiveness of ADT causing the need to contract with another vendor.

The completion date and obtaining the Certificate of Occupancy remains targeted for mid-November.  Please recognize that once the CO is obtained, furniture will need to be moved in and staged and essential supplies provided.
