Barefoot Caring Council’s 2019 Childrens Summer Reading Book Drive was a huge success. Over 300 books were donated!

Thank you to everyone who participated!

The books will be distributed to two local schools, Ocean Drive and Riverside Elementary Schools, as well as a donation to Spokes of Hope, located in Longs. Spokes of Hope will distribute the books to children who are home-schooled and are in need of books.

Because of your generosity, children in our area will have the opportunity to enjoy reading during the summer months.
