REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR RESIDENTIAL PARKING DECAL PROGRAM

Registration is now open for the 2017-2018 Residential Parking Decal program in the city of North Myrtle Beach. Parking decals are available only to city residents who have a vehicle registered within the city limits and on which city property taxes have been paid. Also, only two decals may be issued to each qualifying address. This can be any combination of vehicles, motorcycles or golf carts.

Commercial vehicles are not eligible for this program.

HOW TO REGISTER

Currently, registration is available only by appearing in person at North Myrtle Beach City Hall, 1018 2nd Avenue South. Enter City Hall and go to the Finance section on your right.

Registration is available Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m.

WHAT TO BRING

— 2106 or 2017 Horry County paid vehicle tax receipt. If you do not have a copy, you can get one by visiting www.HorryCounty.org. Look under "Online Services" for access to tax receipt records. 

— The current S.C. Vehicle Registration Card for the vehicle(s) or motorcycle(s) you wish to register.

— The permit number issued to you by the S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles for a golf cart you wish to register.

— Your current S.C. Driver's License

FEES

— All fees have been waived for the initial registration year.

HANDICAPPED PLACARDS OR LICENSE PLATES

— A vehicle displaying a State of South Carolina issued handicapped placard or license plate is exempt from the decal program and may park for free.
