*The Annual Barefoot Golf Cart Parade*

ALL BRRA Residents are welcome to participate!
BOTH the single-family communities and multi-family communities under the BRRA may take part.
The parade route will travel within both the single-family and multi-family communities.
This year’s theme will be…
RED, WHITE and BLUE-TIFUL
Celebrating America from Sea to Shining Sea!!!
Get the planning and thinking going!! Perhaps decorate as a National Park? Or a beach theme? We really want to see a tribute to this beautiful country. Maybe decorate your cart to represent your home state? You’ve got lots of time to plan and put your thoughts and ideas into action!!

Categories for judging are:
(1st-3rd place ribbons will be given in each category)
(one prize per cart)

– Most Patriotic
– Most Creative
Participants will gather at the gazebo parking lot, located behind the Barefoot Resident’s Club on Spotted Owl Landing.
Participants must arrive and line up by 7:30am. Judging will begin promptly at 7:45am. If not on time, carts may still take part in the parade, but won’t be eligible for judging. Award ceremony will begin promptly at 8:30am BEFORE the parade so that ribbons can be proudly displayed on the winning carts during the parade!!
The Parade begins at 9 am sharp.
We will be collecting Hawaiian Shirts for Soldiers during the parade. There will be a box at the registration table to drop off shirts or monetary donations to help with shipping.
ALL RESIDENTS NOT PARTICIPATING ARE ENCOURAGED TO GRAB A CHAIR AND YOUR COFFEE (OR MORNING DRINK OF YOUR CHOICE) AND SIT CURBSIDE TO WATCH THESE FABULOUS CARTS GO BY. Residents put a lot of work into decorating them – let’s show our support by cheering them on. The parade route will be published the week before the parade.
