Be one of the first to see the lights during this appx. two mile non-competitive walk/run through the Great Christmas Light Show. Get in the spirit and wear your best Holiday themed outfit. Prizes will be given for best dressed individual and best dressed family. The walk/run will take place throughout the Great Christmas Light Show route and then end at Santa’s Village where you can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and check out some of the activities.

Lighting of the Landing
Saturday, November 23
It’s the kick-off to the holiday season at Barefoot Landing! Join them on Saturday, November 23 for the Lighting of the Landing with a show full of holiday entertainment including Alabama Theatre, local dance groups and emcees, Ed Piotrowski and Jennifer Abney from WPDE. The show starts at 6 pm on the Dockside Village Stage with the tree lighting and fireworks to follow.
The Great Christmas Light Show

The Great Christmas Light Show is a park-wide lighted celebration that is sure to capture the true spirit of the season! The drive through light show will feature over 2 million lights festively displayed along a 2-mile drive throughout the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. Over 500 magical light displays, some up to 55 feet tall, have been custom made for The Great Christmas Light Show. Visitors will experience NEW enchanting animated figures and holiday scenes where the lights will come to life.
After journeying through the light show, we invite everyone to park their car and visit Santa’s Village where they can enjoy hot chocolate and s’mores, get an up-close look at the lights on the Santa Express Train Ride, and, of course, meet Santa!

Intracoastal Christmas Regatta
Saturday, November 30, 2024
5:00 pm – 7:00 pm — Launches from Little River Inlet at 5:00 p.m. and ends at Dock Holiday’s Marina at 7:00 p.m.
Intracoastal Waterway
Admission: Free to spectators but please consider bringing a new toy and dropping it off at a collection point at any marina in Little River or North Myrtle Beach. Help provide Horry County kids with a great Christmas!
Gather your family and watch the many boats decorated in holiday themes parade past various viewing areas along the Intracoastal Waterway from Little River to Dock Holidays Marina.

Pet Photos with Santa

Furry friends love Santa too! Bring your beloved family pets to meet Santa Claus at the Large Dog Park in the NMB Park & Sports Complex. Bring your camera and capture the perfect Christmas card photo. All well-behaved pets are welcome. Please have dogs on leashes and all other pets contained.

Wreath Making Workshop

Learn the tricks to making your own Christmas wreath with live greenery, supplied by the Parks & Rec Department. Participants should bring a straw wreath form along with any decorations you would like to add to make it a beautiful holiday wreath for your home!

Christmas Parade

t would not be Christmas at the beach without the annual nighttime NMB Christmas parade. Join your friends and neighbors on Main Street to enjoy the lighted floats and vehicles representing groups from all across the area. Parade entries will be judged and awarded for being the best! Judges and a special guest announcer will be located at Oak Drive N and Main Street.
Parade Route: The parade will begin at 2nd Ave North/Ocean Blvd. and proceed South to Main Street/Ocean Blvd. where it will turn right onto Main Street and travel to Ye Olde Kings Hwy turning right to conclude the parade.
Barefoot Landing Holiday Golf Cart Parade

Decorate your golf cart and join Barefoot Landing for their annual Holiday Golf Cart Parade starting at 3 pm. Line up begins at 2:30 pm in the overflow parking lot next to Greg Norman Australian Grille. Bring the kids, the dogs, friends and neighbors. Prizes will be awarded for the best holiday theme. There is a $10 fee (which goes to The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach) and they will also be collecting supplies that day.
