Service for Resident Dennis Suckstorf, Sunday, October 14th
Dennis A. Suckstorf grew up on a farm in Meadow Grove, Nebraska where he learned the values of hard work and family. His life was about giving to others and helping them realize their potential. He joined the USAF at the age of 19 and had a long, distinguished career serving his country. Along the way Dennis grew a family that included 2 sons and their wives and a daughter and her husband. With that came 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren who were his pride and joy.
He continued to serve his community for over 25 years as a financial counselor, planner and tax advisor. He developed special relationships with his clients that turned into friendships, helping them through life events both big and small.
As Dennis turned to retirement he began to enjoy the leisure side of life with some favorite hobbies such as Pickleball, golf, and travel.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you celebrate Denny's life in your own way. Lifting your glass, teeing off at your favorite golf course, donating to a charity of your choice or doing an act of kindness for someone else in his memory would be appropriate.
Kowena invites you to a wake for Denny on October 14th from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM to be held at the Barefoot Residents' Club. Please bring your favorite Denny story. If you have any pictures to share of Denny, please send them to kowenasuckstorf@gmail.com.
Hors d'oeuvres will be served but bring your own beverages. Mixers will not be provided.
