The Joint Committee (JC) is responsible for the landscape overlay, irrigation, and streetlights on all spine roads (Club Course Drive, Marsh Glen Drive, Barefoot Resort Bridge Road, Windy Hill Extension, Catalina Drive, Oyster Catcher Drive, Par Avenue, Village Crossing Boulevard, Premier Resorts Boulevard, Harbor Pointe Drive, and Links Drive).
The JC is also responsible for the North Tower Pool & Spa, an amenity shared by both the BRRA and NRA Associations.
All owners contribute to paying these maintenance costs in their monthly HOA fees. One-third (1/3) of the common expenses are allocated to members of the NRA and two-thirds (2/3) of the common expenses are allocated to members of the BRRA.
The Joint Committee is made up of five (5) members. There are 2 representatives appointed by both the NRA and BRRA. The fifth member is appointed by the member holding the Class “B” Declarant rights.
As the summer comes to an end, the Joint Committee Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to inform the members of several items that have been addressed.
- Mainscape Landscape has done a wonderful job this summer. The entrances and the property look beautiful.
- Mainscape Landscape will work on various enhancements throughout the property in the coming months.
- Several electrical repairs were made to the North Tower Pool and Spa.
- The Board continues to work with Horry Electric regarding the lighting on the North Tower Pool deck in hopes that the pool may be able to remain open past sunset.
