The Lifestyle Committee was formed several years ago to bring together the single-family homeowners and the multi-family homeowners. The committee started off with Meet and Greet events. Last year, we have taken on the Golf Cart Parade on or near July 4th. Our first year the theme was Christmas in July. This year it was Salute to Veterans and collected Hawaiian Shirts for Soldiers.

We also work with Sun Lee, chairperson for the Pelican tickets, and the Barefoot Beach Party at the Pelicans and Anne Kepple of the two times a year Beach Clean Up. Some of the committee members also help with the Caring Council events.

We have sponsored cruises on the Barefoot Queen, Brookgreen Gardens Christmas Light Show, a Halloween Pet Costume Contest, Howl at the Moon Party and the new Walking Group. The Lifestyle Committee oversees Christmas decorating the front entrance of the Resort and helped with the Grand Opening of the new Cabana.

Future events will be a Meet and Greet, a Murder Mystery Dinner in September, a day trip to Charlotte NC for the Christmas Craft Show in November and Brookgreen Gardens Christmas Light Show on December 9th .
