Recently a friend of mine reported that his neighbors window was reported wide open with no owner present.

Upon investigating this it was determined that the widow latches were not fully locked in place causing the window to fall into the residence.  The management company responded and indicated that nothing was out of place and the owner who resides out of state was notified.

I would recommend all residents check their windows and make sure they are locked in place as well as the sash lock.
