Pelican’s Baseball On Hold

April 1, 2020

While the Myrtle Beach Pelicans baseball season has been suspended for now, we are still planning to purchase tickets for upcoming games.

The Pelicans issued the following statement:

“We will work with Major League Baseball and our community partners to resume play as soon as it is safe to do so.”

“At this point in time, MLB has announced a delay to the start of our season. With the fluidness of this situation, it is too premature at this point to know when games will resume. Based on CDC recommendations, our Front Office, Box Office, and Pro Shop is currently closed to the public. However, our online Box Office and Pro Shop remain open 24-7. Additionally, our staff is working remotely. As always, the health and safety of our employees, the public, and our players is our top priority.”

In the meantime, we've crafted a few options that will allow you to "Back the Birds" while also receiving the ultimate flexibility on your purchase. Options range from Splash Cash that will NEVER EXPIRE, to single game tickets, group outings, picnics, and suite nights that you can book now and pick your date later.

Depending if and when the season begins, the Pelicans organization has worked with us and will continue to do so. We want to continue to support the Myrtle Beach Pelicans as we continue to navigate these unchartered waters.

We are still planning to rent luxury suites. Typically, the Pelicans Organization requires us to pick game dates when we book but they’re suspending that for the time being. When we commit to a group outing now and pay in full, we don't have to pick a date! Once the season resumes, we'll be contacted to schedule game dates. This offer applies to all group outings including picnics, beach parties, team parties, birthday parties, bullpen experiences, and luxury suite rentals.

The Barefoot 2020 suite rental cost is $333.00 and includes:

  • Twenty tickets
  • Four VIP parking passes
  • Popcorn
  • Lemonade
  • Iced Tea
  • A catering menu is available and you can also visit the concession stands and bring food and drinks back to the suite.

Renting a suite is a great way to have a neighborhood outing, family reunion, employee or customer appreciation event or just an outing with good friends and family.

If renting an entire suite is not for you, we have special Barefoot Nights each month where you can purchase individual tickets and join other Barefoot residents to watch a ball game. Dates TBD. This is a great way to meet new Barefooters and enjoy a nice night out in the comfort of a luxury suite at a ballgame.

The Barefoot Lifestyle Committee also arranged another Barefoot Beach Party at the Ballpark on a date TBD. This date depends on when the Pelicans resume play. Get your tickets now as last year tickets sold out early.
