Sign Committee Annual Report

November 1, 2020

~ Roy Fleming, BRRA Sign Sub-Committee Chair

The BRRA Sign Subcommittee is an informal subcommittee of the Architectural Review Committee.

The subcommittee was created in 2013 to oversee the sign refurbishment project.

The project includes all Barefoot community signs with the exception of Leatherleaf and The Dye Estates that have opted to maintain their own signs.

This subcommittee continues to review sign conditions on an annual basis.

Summary of Duties…

Every year, the subcommittee takes inventory of the Barefoot signs. A spreadsheet defining minor repairs and maintenance is provided to Ponderosa Management for the annual maintenance budget. Maintenance includes paint touchup, cleaning/mildew treatment, and base repair. The subcommittee determines costs and submits a Request for Funds (RFP) to the BRRA Board.

All Barefoot signs are numbered with metal tags to assist in locating signs needing repairs. If you should notice that any unusual repairs or recommendations might be needed, please call Ponderosa Management and provide the metal tag number for the sign needing repair. Barefoot continues to save time and money through its annual
sign maintenance program.

If you would be interested in assisting with the Sign Subcommittee in making sure that all our directional and community signs are kept in good condition, please contact Ponderosa Management.
