As an initiative sponsored by the Barefoot Caring Council, Barefoot has supported the North Strand Helping Hand with a semi-annual food drive. We have had great results with our food drives each year and Helping Hand has been overwhelmed with your generosity. Please note the different action plan for single family versus multi-family neighborhoods.

Single Family Homes:
On Tuesday, November 6th, volunteers will leave a plastic grocery bag on your mailbox.  Donated items should be placed in the bag and left next to your mailbox by 8:30 AM on Friday, November 9th and the volunteers will retrieve the bags for delivery to North Strand Helping Hand.

All Other Residences:
Food can be dropped off at the Ponderosa office between November 2nd – November 8th

Food pantries are in great need after the recent hurricanes and flooding so your generosity will be greatly appreciated.
