The Caring Council is sponsoring the following events in December and we need volunteers to help out with each initiative.

30th Annual Community Christmas Day Dinner

St. John Baptist Greek Orthodox Church

Typically over 7,500 free meals are served on Christmas Day at the St. John Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, the Risen Christ Lutheran Church, and the Belin United Methodist Church. Because of the tremendous losses suffered by many in our area over the last few months, this year the number of free meals is expected to significantly exceed 7,500. In addition to a wonderful Christmas dinner and great fellowship, gently used clothing, blankets and toys are available to everyone in need. The Barefoot Caring Council will be collecting donations of these items beginning the first of December. Additional information about this project will be available to our Barefoot residents soon.
