As an initiative sponsored by the Barefoot Caring Council, Barefoot has supported the North Strand Helping Hand with a semi-annual food drive. We have had great results with our food drives each year and Helping Hand has been overwhelmed with your generosity.  

Please note the different action plan for single family versus multi-family neighborhoods.

Single Family Homes:
On Tuesday, May 15th, volunteers will leave a plastic grocery bag on your mailbox.  Donated items should be placed in the bag and left next to your mailbox by 9AM on Friday, May 18th and the volunteers will retrieve the bags for delivery to North Strand Helping Hand.

All Other Residences:
Food can be dropped off at the Ponderosa office between May 11th – May 18th
