On October 2nd, 2021 I organized my 7th Windy Hill Beach Sweep. We had a beautiful day for cleaning the beach and dunes area. We had over 40 volunteers sign up to help and were able to collect bags full of plastics, sports balls, cigarette butts, grocery bags, sandals, children's beach toys, glass bottles, cans, and clothing. Almost everything is recycled once gathered.

We had new energetic faces plus many old familiar ones who have been loyal in returning each spring and fall. I welcome anyone who would be interested in helping us again this spring.

I can't thank all the volunteers enough for their time and effort to make this project such a success. I would also like to thank the Barefoot Lifestyle committee who helped in many ways.
