On July 21 we held our open meeting with NMB Deputy Fire Marshal Jay Ortiz leading a discussion on fire safety in the home.

This came on the same day the NMB Police Department came under attack here in Barefoot.

Happy to report no law enforcement members were killed or wounded and the perp was later captured by our NMB Police Department.

Also captured was an escaped prisoner from Pennsylvania in a non related incident in Barefoot Landing.

Quite a busy week for our Law Enforcement professionals.
